A Home Gardens man suspected of molesting several kids in the Inland Empire has been arrested, officials reported.
Deputies conducting a follow–up investigation regarding alleged child molestation on Oct. 3 learned one of the incidents took place near the 3800 block of Davidson Street in Home Gardens.
During the investigation detectives were able to locate several victims who had been molested by the suspect, Sgt. Sam Flores stated in a Riverside County Sheriff’s press release.
The children told detectives that Austreberto Ochoa, 55, was the man responsible for the alleged molestations.
On Tuesday Nov. 20, detectives learned that Ochoa had moved to Long Beach. Detectives were able to track down Ochoa at a Long Beach restaurant where he was arrested, Sgt. Flores added.
Ochoa was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of lewd acts on a child.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is requesting if anyone has had similar contacts with Ochoa or has additional information regarding the suspect to contact Detective Gasparini at 951-955-2600.
