Man drowns in Rancho Mirage

A man reportedly drowned today in Rancho Mirage, according to a fire department spokeswoman.

Firefighters rushed to a location in the 30 block of Evening Star after receiving a 4:46 p.m. call about the drowning, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.

Hagemann had no other information immediately available about the fatality.
