A 25-year-old man who used a steak knife to stab his mother’s boyfriend in the stomach was at large today, police said.
The victim, 53, and the suspect got into a fight just after 7 p.m. Friday in the kitchen of the woman’s home at 1145 Atwater St. in Egger Highlands, San Diego police Sgt. David E. Jennings said.
During the fight, the younger man grabbed a steak knife and stabbed his mother’s boyfriend, who was taken to a hospital, Jennings said.
The victim’s condition was unavailable, and the suspect remained at large, Jennings said.
He didn’t know what the fight was about.
