The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose today for the first time since Oct. 8, increasing a half-cent to $3.774.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties decreased for 36 consecutive days, was unchanged Nov. 14, resumed dropping the following day and was unchanged again Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
Despite the increase, the average price is 2.5 cents less than one week ago and 54.1 cents lower than one month ago, but 4.6 cents more than one year ago.
