Wildomar residents are encouraged to express their holiday decorating skills and participate in the upcoming holiday decorating contest.

The Annual Holiday Lights Home Decorating Contest hosted by the City of Wildomar will consist of three categories:
- Traditional: For those who are like “Martha Stewart,” with every bulb and decoration just so.
- Clark Griswold: For those who feel the more light and decorations the merrier.
- Best Block: For three or more decorated houses on a block.
The public will judge from Dec. 16 – Dec. 22. Winners will be announced online on Dec. 23.
Awards will be given for each of the winners from the three categories.

“Lawn signs and bragging rights will be yours for the 2013 year,” City of Wildomar City Services Director, Paula Willette said.
