Temecula wine country is getting set to ring in 2013 with all sorts of fun and festive events suited to every taste and preference

Carol’s at Baily Winery is offering a celebration for early birds from 5 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 31. Guests will dine at Bacchus Hall and dance to the music of Fandango. South Coast Winery Resort & Spa will treat patrons to the Fire & Ice New Year’s Eve event, featuring a four-course wine & food pairing dinner, along with live entertainment. Wilson Creek Winery is offering Jet-Setting Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Celebration from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 31. Guests will wrap around the world without ever stepping foot on a plane, train or automobile. Cost is $160 per person, plus gratuity and tax and includes a four-course dinner, a hosted wine and champagne bar pouring only the finest and the chance to groove to the electric, funky, soul sounds of Sibling Rivalry.
Wiens Family Cellars will transport guests to “The Great Gatsby” era when its Event Pavilion is transformed into a 1920s speakeasy. The party is planned for 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Dec. 31. Welcome the New Year at this after-dinner event that includes dancing, appetizers and more.
