Famed boxer Mike Tyson recently announced that he will take his acclaimed one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,” on a national tour with a stop in San Diego.

“After a successful run at the MGM in Las Vegas and on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre with Spike Lee, I’m excited to take ‘Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,’on tour and share it with my fans across the country,” said Tyson in a released statement. “’Undisputed Truth’ is my story — I’m giving my all. I’m proud to take the show nationwide, and it’s a privilege to continue working with The Nederlander Organization.”
The one-man show offers a rare, personal look inside the life and mind of one of the most feared men ever to wear the heavyweight crown.
Led by renowned director Spike Lee and producer James L. Nederlander, the tour will kick off in February 2013 and appear at the San Diego Civic Theatre on March 5, 2013.
The 10-week tour with begin with a two-night engagement at the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis on Feb. 12 –13.
The San Diego performance is planned for 7:30 p.m. on Mar. 5 at San Diego Civic Theatre, located at 3rd and B Street in San Diego.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7.
