The city of Temecula is prepared to face a friendly challenge as part of a charity competition of surrounding cities to raise money for the Salvation Army.
The Red Kettle City Council Challenge is set to kick off Dec. 8 at the Wal-Mart in Temecula.
Got an extra jingle in your pocket? Stop by from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to donate some cash for a good cause.
Temecula City Council members will be ring the bell for part of the day.
Mayor Chuck Washington will pose for a “Photo with the Mayor” from 8 to 10:30 a.m. with citizens for a “Photo with the Mayor.”
And residents can swing by to sing with Councilwoman Maryann Edwards from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph will wrap up the day until 5 p.m.
