Glen Oaks: Man accused of holding woman against her will in domestic assault

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man after responding to a report of a domestic violence incident at 5:19 p.m. on Dec. 3  in the 38000 block of Mesa Road in the unincorporated area of Glen Oaks.

John David Allen, 43, was taken into custody after a victim reported that he had held her against her will and assaulted her, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report.

“After being held against her will for two hours, the victim was able to escape and call 9-1-1. The victim concealed herself in nearby bushes until deputies arrived,” Sgt. Jon Wade said in the report.

Deputies located Allen inside the residence and took him into custody without incident.

Allen was later booked into the Southwest Detention Center.
