Concert to benefit the Desert AIDS Project hits the stage tonight

Singers and television and Broadway performers will give a concert tonight at the Annenberg Theater to benefit the Desert AIDS Project.

“Sparkle: An All-Star Holiday Concert” is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be headlined by performers including actress and singer Mitzi Gaynor, who starred in the film version of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific,” Tony and Emmy-winning performer Lillias White, Grammy-nominated singer and television and Broadway actress Ilene Graff, two-time Emmy-nominated soap opera actress Bobbie Eakes, Tony nominee Sharon McKnight and actor Wilson Cruz of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “My So Called Life.”

General admission tickets are $65 and VIP tickets are $150.

A free shuttle will run to and from LULU California Bistro, 200 S. Palm Canyon Drive.
