Felon arrested on suspicion of burglarizing Palm Desert home

Deputies arrested a suspected burglar after serving a property-related search warrant in Palm Desert, Riverside County Sheriff’s officials reported.

The search warrant was served at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 5 in the 73400 block of Santa Rosa Way in regards to a residential burglary that took place in Palm Desert on Tuesday Dec. 4.

“During the service of the search warrant, deputies located stolen property from the residential burglary,” Sgt. Brad Farwell said.

Christopher German, 29, of Palm Desert was arrested and booked into the Riverside County Jail.

German was charged with possession of stolen property, being a convicted felon in possession of a loaded firearm and committing a felony while on bail.

Sheriff’s officials advise that citizens should be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity.
