The Panthers ended the season with the number one scoring offense in the league. However, the championship game was highlighted and ultimately won by a very smart, fast and physical defense.
“This season has been such a fun experience. The boys have worked so hard every day in practice and they’ve shown the most heart I’ve ever seen in any youth team,” said Head Coach Correy Baker.
“We have some awesome coaches that prepared these boys and put them in the right spots to win a championship. This was a true team effort all around and I feel blessed to have been a part of it,” Baker added.
The 14U Panthers will have one more opportunity to show their stuff as they will play in a National Championship Tournament in Las Vegas in January, against teams from Utah, Arizona, Tennessee, Oklahoma and the San Francisco Bay Area.
