Woman jailed after cops find pills and pot in car

A woman who was stopped by deputies in Jurupa Valley was arrested after a large amount of pills and pot was found in her car, officials reported.

Deputies pulled 27-year-old Kristina Pierce over just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 12 in the 3800 block of San Sevaine Way. As the officer was talking with Pierce, he noticed a strong smell of pot.

“During a search of the vehicle deputies located over 100 controlled pharmaceutical pills, concentrated cannabis, marijuana and evidence related to the sales of the pharmaceutical pill,” Sgt. Justin Rowan said in a sheriff’s report.

Pierce was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on numerous drug charges.
