Two vehicles were involved in a rollover crash just after 11:30 a.m. on I-15 south of the Temecula Parkway exit, CHP officials reported today.
Details are unclear as to how the Nissan Titan and the Chevrolet Aveo collided.
Both vehicles ended up on the shoulder of the rain-slicked freeway with the truck upside down.
“Right now, we don’t have too many details as to the cause of the crash,” CHP officer J. Serrano said. “I can tell you one person was transported to the hospital.”
The extent of that person’s injuries are unknown at this time, Serrano said.
Drivers are urged to use caution and slow down when it rains.
“It’s really simple, when it rains reduce your speed and drive safely,” Serrano advised.
