A suspicious package found at the Augustine Casino in Coachella prompted the Riverside County Sheriff’s Hazardous Team to assist sheriff’s officials, it has been reported.
Deputies responded at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday Dec. 20 after Augustine Casino security officers found the package in parking lot.
After investigation the package, the Hazardous Device Team determined the package was safe, Sgt. B. Adams stated in a sheriff’s report.
