Streak of dropping gas prices in Inland Empire ends at 19 days

A 19-day streak of decreases ended today when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire remained unchanged at $3.546.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties dropped 17.7 cents during the streak, including seven-tenths of a cent on Saturday, to its lowest amount since Dec. 27, 2011, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 5 cents less than one week ago and 23.2 cents lower than one month ago, but 3.4 cents more than one year ago.
