Local groups will serve Christmas dinner in the Coachella Valley Tuesday, Christmas Day.

Well in the Desert will serve a meal from noon to 3 p.m. at the Palm Springs Convention Center, 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.
Children and seniors will get gifts, and Santa Claus will make an appearance. Crafts, face painting and a performance by ventriloquist Rob Watkins will be offered for children.
In Cathedral City, members of Victory Christian Center in Palm Desert will serve a meal from noon to 3 p.m. at the Salvation Army’s Dick and Beverly Davis Corps Community Center, 30-400 Landau Blvd.
To donate to or volunteer for the Well in the Desert event, people may call 760-327-8577 for registration.
