Tartaglia remained behind bars today with bail set at $25,000.

The senior men, who were in their 60s, were treated for moderate injuries they suffered during the attack late Saturday afternoon. Tartaglia’s alleged victims did not know him, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. John Morin said.

Tartaglia allegedly fled but an investigation led sheriff’s deputies to name him as the suspect. Deputies went to Tartaglia’s home where a brief struggle ensued before he was arrested, Morin said.
