The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire fell six-tenths of a cent Thursday to $3.544, its lowest amount in exactly one year.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 2 cents less than one week ago and 22.7 cents lower than one month ago, but three-tenths of a cent more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price dropped 70 times in 75 days until being unchanged on Sunday. It fell one-tenth of a cent on Monday and rose one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday and four-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
