Early morning blaze damages Temecula home

A predawn fire scorched part of a two-story Temecula home, a fire department spokeswoman said.

No one was hurt during the blaze, which was called in at 12:41 a.m.

Firefighters found light smoke coming from the garage of the home in the 33200 block of Calle Langarica, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire to a wall between the bathroom and the garage. It was not clear if the home was vacant or occupied at the time the fire was reported.

Its cause was under investigation.
