If watching the 2013 Rose Parade on television just didn’t float your boat, then perhaps you’ll want to see the famed, flowered masterpieces up close and personal.
Residents wishing to view all of the floats that drifted down Colorado Blvd. as part of Pasadena’s 2013 Tournament of Roses parade will have the chance to tour the showcase of floats after the parade.
Presented by MiracleGro, public viewings are scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 1 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 2. The floats will be parked along Sierra Madre and Washington Blvd.
The tour takes about two hours and cameras are welcome. But, leave the pets, bicycles, skates and skateboards at home.
Guests are invited to follow a special tour by downloading a free iTunes podcast.
Ticket prices are $10 per person. Kids under 5 may enter for free.
