Students who are college-bound and want to know how to pay for their higher education will want to attend the “Paying for College Without Breaking the Bank” program, presented by Kaplan Test Prep.
The program is planned for 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7 in the Murrieta Library Community Room.
The event is free and open to high school students and parents.
“Students will gain helpful insights into how to pay for college by attending this seminar that includes the basics of applying for financial aid, finding out how financial need is determined, learning important dates and terminology, and the difference between various award types,” Teen Services Librarian said Joyce Lea Brown.
The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street).
For more information about the program, call 951-304-BOOK (2665) or visit the Library’s web page at www.murrietalibrary.info.
