Temecula to host seminars to get local businesses booming

The TVE² (Temecula Valley Entrepreneur’s Exchange) Regional Resource Center recently announced it will host three upcoming seminars designed to help local entrepreneurs get a leg up in the business world.

Presented by the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center, “Supercharging your Facebook Marketing” is planned for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Jan. 8.

Topics will include:

  • Why Facebook is important to your business
  • The difference between posting and marketing on Facebook
  • Drive more “likes”, more “shares”, and more business
  • Plan: Driving repeat business and amplifying word of mouth with a great offer
  • Publish: Sharing your message easily to stay top-of-mind with others
  • Promote: Growing your business and measuring results

And, we’ll share the 10 best practices that you can do today to supercharge your Facebook marketing and take that word-of-mouth marketing to the next level.

Also presented by the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center “Email + Social = Success” will run from noon to 2 p.m. on Jan. 8.

Topics will include:

  • Why you should use Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing for your business
  • Real world examples of businesses doing Email and Social Media Marketing well
  • How to grow your email contact list and Social Media presence
  • How often to send your emails and subject lines
  • Time management
  • Measuring the return of your activities

Finally, the Tri-Tech SBDC will offer “12 Steps to Building a Great Business” from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 10

Local attorney and author Robert Gottlieb will cover both legal and organizational strategies and tactics that can help any business lay the foundation to succeed in today’s challenging economy.
