One motorist was arrested for driving while on drugs and five other drivers were cited for not being licensed during a checkpoint in Moreno Valley, a sergeant said today.
Two motorists were cited for driving with a suspended license in the sobriety checkpoint sheriff’s deputies ran Friday night at Eucalyptus Avenue and Day Street, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Jim Bengston said.
The operation ended at about 3:30 a.m. today.
Five field sobriety tests were done for drunken driving and four such tests were conducted for drug-related driving, Bengston said.
Three vehicles were towed as 664 vehicles passed through the checkpoint and five citations were issued for code violations, Bengston said.
