Deputies were dispatched shortly before 1 a.m. to the party at a residence in the 2600 block of Huffstatler St. near Second Street.

They had reports that someone had been stabbed and gunshots had been fired, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Yates.

They found a knife and other evidence at the scene and later learned three men from the party had been stabbed and driven to a hospital by acquaintances, Yates said.

One of the men was stabbed in his back, another stabbed three times, once in the neck, abdomen and arm. The third man sustained stab wounds to his back, arm and side, Yates said, adding there did not appear to have been a shooting victim.

Detectives were investigating and no suspect description was available.
