Prepare your winning strategies and come ready to play bingo every Tuesday night at Vista Murrieta High School, and also support the school’s award-winning marching band and color guard.

Bingo games will be played at Vista Murrieta High School, 28251 Clinton Keith Road, Murrieta. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., early birds may start playing at 6:15 p.m., and regular games begin at 7 p.m. (Fickr: Robert Banh)
Games will pay up to $250, and there will be a progressive jackpot.
The buy-in is $15 for the first pack, and $5 for each additional pack.
Special packs, which include early bird and two specials, are $25 for one pack, $35 for two and $45 for three.
On Jan. 8, a free dinner of pizza, salad and beverage will be served to the first 125 players.
All proceeds will benefit the Golden Alliance, the music and performance ensembles at Vista Murrieta.
The Golden Alliance has performed at many prestigious events around the country including the Grand Nationals in Indianapolis, and is the three-time defending champion in the Marching Band Open Series competition.
“The 300 students in the program work hard all year long to compete at such a high level,” said Craig Lobnow, one of the bingo organizers and president of the Golden Alliance Booster Club. “Besides being a fun night out and a chance to win some cash by playing bingo, this is an opportunity for everyone in the community to show their support for the students and the program.”
Other than paying the salaries of the directors, the school district budget does not include any additional funding for the marching band or color guard.
Events such as Tuesday Night Bingo help cover necessary expenses that include transportation, performance fees, instruments and sheet music.
