Vandals who struck at two locations in San Jacinto, firing pellets into windows, remained at large today.
The non-injury shootings occurred Thursday evening in the 200 block of Idyllwild Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were called to a house around 7 p.m. to investigate a report of property damage resulting from BBs being fired at a living room window.
Several rounds struck the double-pane glass, cracking it. A resident told deputies he heard the shots but never saw who fired them, according to the sheriff’s department.
Not long afterward, similar damage was discovered at a facility located in a nearby park.
Anyone who might information about either incident was asked to call the sheriff’s San Jacinto station at (951) 654-2702.
