Police in Moreno Valley arrested two men suspected of robbing a pizza delivery man just after 1 a.m. on Saturday Jan. 12 in the 22000 block of Barons Court in Moreno Valley, law enforcement officials reported today.
The victim arrived at a residence and was told he was at the wrong house and sent to another home nearby.
Shortly after, two men, one of whom was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun approached the victim and demanded his cell phone and pizzas, Sgt. Guimont stated in a sheriff’s press release.
The victim described the assailants as two African-American males approximately 25-years-old with one having a beard and a mustache.
Later that morning officers were alerted that the suspects were in the 12000 block of Day Street in Moreno Valley.
Officers searched the men and discovered the victim’s cell phone and a fake handgun.
Moreno Valley residents Marshon Tucker and Treshawn Bruiner, both 21-years-old were immediately arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of stolen property, Sgt. Guimont added.
