A Palm Desert woman was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk after smashing into a curb just before 5 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 13 near Fred Waring Drive and Cook Street in Palm Desert, officials reported.

Jackie Maglione, 40, was arrested at the scene after officers suspected she was intoxicated.
Maglione was uninjured in the crash and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, Sgt. Eller stated in a sheriff’s report.
