Arrest made in connection with felony vandalism near Hemet

A 20-year-old man was arrested today in connection with vandalizing a property in Valle Vista, it was reported.

Adam Ryer was found hiding near a fence after deputies responded to the scene, officials said.

The incident occurred around 2:39 a.m. on Jan. 15 at the Lake Hemet Municipal Water District. Officers responded to the scene after hearing an alarm, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.

Two windows were broken, but nothing appeared to have been stolen, according to Sgt. John Morin.

Ryer was booked for felony vandalism at the Southwest Detention Center, the report said.
