A man who rolled his black Chevrolet SUV 30 feet down an embankment on Interstate 15 south of Railroad Canyon road suffered serious injuries, it has been reported.
The accident was reported at 7 a.m. this morning, CHP officials said.
The victim was trapped in the vehicle for about 45 minutes until several firefighters were able to free him from the mangled wreckage.
“Additionally, one firefighter sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital,” Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.
