Blustery conditions are in store for Riverside County today with temperatures in the valleys starting out in the 20s and low 30s this morning, forecasters said.
A frost advisory was in effect for the Inland Empire and the Coachella Valley until 9 a.m.
The National Weather Service also scheduled a wind advisory for the valleys and mountains until 10 p.m. Thursday, saying top local gusts will reach 55 miles per hour or more.
“Northeast to east winds will subside by late Thursday night, becoming locally breezy through early next week,” according to an NWS advisory. “Warmer conditions tonight through the weekend will mitigate frost chances.”
Highs today were expected to top out in the 60s in the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley and in the 50s in the mountains.
