Two local residents were arrested Wednesday near Temecula after allegedly being found in possession of heroin, sheriff’s officials said.

Richard Murphy, 27, and Rebbecca Grimshaw, 23, were detained around 5 p.m. on Jan. 16 at the 31400 block of Rivera street in Winchester after officers obtained a search warrant, a Riverside County Sheriff’s report said.
Grimshaw was under the influence at the time of the arrest and Murphy was in possession of five grams of heroin, Lt. Doug McGrew said in the report.
Upon entering the home with the search warrant, officers found an additional 20 grams of heroin, McGrew said.
Both were booked at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta.
