Casting call: MSJC announces auditions for upcoming production

The Mt. San Jacinto College Menifee Valley Campus Theatre Arts Department recently announced it will hold auditions for its upcoming production of “The Conference of the Birds,” by Peter Brook and Jean-Claude Carriere.

The auditions are planned for 7 p.m. on Jan. 23 in the Lab Theatre (room 207) on the Menifee Valley Campus.

This theatre piece will use actors, dancers and musicians to present this highly visual and unique work using puppetry and multimedia, along with live performers.  All types of collaborative team players who wish to work creatively are encouraged to join.

Prepare a one-minute audition that best shows your skills, and be prepared to read from the script provided. All performers and technicians will be required to enroll in THA 201 or THA 299.

Performances will be April 18-21, 2013.
