Three motorists were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and two other motorists were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs during an overnight DUI/driver’s license checkpoint in Menifee, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement today.
Five drivers were either cited or arrested for operating a vehicle with a revoked or suspended license or no license during the checkpoint at Newport and Bradley roads that began at 7 p.m. Friday Jan. 18 and concluded today 3 a.m., according to a department statement.
Three other people were arrested on other criminal charges, according to the statement.
