Wal-Mart robbed, employee threatened in San Jacinto

San Jacinto police officers are on the hunt for a man who allegedly threatened a Wal-Mart employee before fleeing with merchandise, it was reported today.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, officials responded to a report of a robbery at 1:50 p.m. today at the Wal-Mart located in the 1800 block of South Jacinto Avenue.

“The investigation revealed that a black male in his late 30s, wearing a white T-shirt and grey pants entered the store, took merchandise and left without paying,” Sgt. Rose McKinney said in a report.

When a Wal-Mart loss prevention officer attempted to detain the man, the suspect pulled a metal object from a backpack and threatened the employee.

The suspect fled on foot.

A search of the area for the man was not successful.

No one was injured during the incident.

    I’m so sick of the criminals getting away with crimes. I want to commend this newspaper for giving the suspects description as reported by law enforcement. The Press Enterprise always omits the race of suspects. This will now be my newspaper. Thank you!

    That’s pretty typical . A black male ? If you want something you just take it !
    Mom and dad taught him that ! It’s their culture . I thought things might change a bit since they all get Obama money now . But even with that , they must carry on the culture . Spend the Obama money on crack and steal what you want from whitey ! Robbing us of our tax dollars is not enough . These animals will never stop .
