The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire fell three-tenths of a cent today, the second decrease in the past 25 days.
The average price of $3.70 in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 4.7 cents more than one week ago and 14.7 cents higher than one month ago but 2 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price fell to its lowest amount in exactly one year, $3.544, on Dec. 27, then began rising.
The only interruptions to the streak of increases came on Jan. 2 when it was unchanged, Jan. 14 when it dropped two-tenths of a cent, and Friday when it was unchanged.
