Woman attacked, robbed with Taser in Marina Del Rey

A robber with a Taser stole a woman’s backpack near Marina del Rey today and left her with facial cuts, Los Angeles police said.

The crime at Short and Kenyon avenues occurred about 7:50 a.m.,Officer Christopher No of Media Relations said.

The woman, about 60, was treated for facial cuts, No said.

The robber was described as a black man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall and about 150 pounds.
