La Quinta: New police substation to open today

La Quinta police will open a new substation this afternoon.

The Cove Sub-Station located at 78495 Calle Tampico, will open at 3 p.m., Sgt. Robert Pickowitz said.

“The city of La Quinta is extremely excited about opening this facility, which is in the La Quinta City Hall, which will provide easy access and better police services for our residents,” Pickowitz said.

The substation will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
