A woman jogging in a country club community in Temecula was sexually assaulted by a man riding a bike, law enforcement officials reported.

The woman told police she was running just before 2 p.m. on Monday Jan. 21 near the intersection of Honors and Southern Hills Drive when a man appearing to be in his late teens was pedaling his bike close to her.
As he passed her, he sexually assaulted her and rode off, Sgt. Harris stated in a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.
The victim sought out help and called police.
The suspect was described as a young male adult or teen with unkempt medium-length hair, approximately five feet eight inches tall with a slim build.
He was wearing dark shorts and a blue t-shirt and was riding a BMX style bicycle.
