The woman had just pulled into her driveway at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 20 in the 1100 block of West 17th Street, when the suspect struck her in the face, shoved her against her car and held her as he tore her clothes off, according to Santa Ana police.

The woman shouted for help and honked her car’s horn, prompting her daughter to come out of the home and confront the attacker, police said.

The thin, Hispanic suspect, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with his long, dark hair in a ponytail and acne on his face, initially ran, then got on a skateboard he was carrying, police said.

The woman’s daughter and another witness chased the youth, prompting him to pick up the skateboard and run east on 15th street, police said.

The suspect, whose hair reaches to about the middle of his back, was wearing black “skinny jeans” and a black hoodie.

Anyone with more information can leave anonymous tips with Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS or 855-847-6227, or call Santa Ana police at 714-245-8378.
