Temecula man suspected in rash of burglaries arrested

A Temecula man has been arrested in connection with a series of cat burglaries in Lake Elsinore and Temecula, it was reported today.

According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report, the Menifee Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team linked 29-year-old Anthony Carl Napoli III to the burglaries and served a search warrant  on Dec. 12 at a residence in the 23000 block of Lake Drive in Menifee.

“The suspect evaded capture and fled to Utah. The Special Enforcement Team was able to track the suspect to a location in Utah where local authorities took him into custody on January 24, 2013,” said Sgt. Robert Novak in the report.

The suspect is pending extradition to Calif.
