A 20-year-old Cathedral City man, shot several times today, was expected to survive his gunshot wounds, a police sergeant said.
Police responded at 12:08 a.m. to a “shots fired” call in the 32400 block of Shifting Sands found the gunshot victim conscious and uncooperative, said Cathedral City police Sgt. Alberto Ruiz.
Paramedics rushed the man to Desert Regional Hospital.
He refused to provide a statement to police, Ruiz said.
