Parents are invited to several upcoming Family Math Nights that will be held at Murrieta Valley Unified elementary schools on the following dates from 6 to 7:30 p.m:
- Jan. 29: Rail Ranch Elementary (25030 Via Santee)
- Jan. 31: Avaxat Elementary (24300 Rancho Las Brisas Drive)
- Feb. 5: E. Hale Curran Elementary (40855 Chaco Canyon Road)
- Feb. 7: Murrieta Elementary (24725 Adams Avenue)
- Feb. 26: Alta Murrieta (39475 Whitewood Road)
- Feb. 28: Buchanan Elementary (40121 Torrey Pines Road)
The Family Math Nights will include eight different math activities for students to do with parents.
Games range from place value to multiplication, addition and geometry.
These evenings are an opportunity for parents and students to become familiar with strategies that enhance learning in Math.
The interactive math games can then be recreated for use at home to bridge the learning between school and home.
