BJ Fazeli is another step closer to achieving his dream of infusing the beauty and romance of his Persian heritage with the rolling vineyards of Temecula wine country.
Surrounded by family and friends, Fazeli officially welcomed the public last week to Fazeli Cellars’ new tasting room nestled in the heart of Old Town Temecula.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday, Jan. 23.
“We hope to be an active participant in Old Town. It’s a beautiful place. So eclectic and warm. We feel like we’re going to be part of that vibe,” Fazeli said.
Featuring a fresh design, Fazeli said that colors and unique interior appointments inside the tasting room are meant to blend the old traditions of Persian culture with the So Cal lifestyle.
The use of the color palate of a peacock’s regal hues, a rich, industrial-themed ceiling lit by soft amber and candlelight and plush seating are designed to encourage guests to stay awhile.
“It’s chic, but there is also a great ambiance here in this room,” Fazeli said, noting that he hopes visitors will feel welcome to linger.
But, the real lure for guests is Fazelli Cellars’ award-winning wines, and the chance to get a taste of what’s to come – a Moorish, Santa Barbara-styled winery estate stretched across 34 acres along the De Portola Wine Trail.
Renderings of the new winery flash on a flat-screen television perched above the fireplace for all to see.
Fazelli Cellars’ tasting room is located at 41955 Fourth St #101 Temecula.
Fazeli Cellars is located at 27495 Diaz Road, Temecula.
