A 21-year-old man was in custody today on suspicion of fatally stabbing his 25-year-old brother in the victim’s Mission Valley apartment, police said.
Zachary Castro Tenorio called police about 6:20 a.m., Sunday Jan. 27 to report the death of his older brother in the 700 block of Camino de la Reina, according to San Diego police Lt. Ernie Herbert.

Once there, officers and medics confirmed the death of 25-year-old Jonathan Tenorio, Herbert stated.
In an earlier statement, Herbert said that the victim was found inside his bedroom and that the death was reported by a roommate.
Zachary Tenorio was arrested on suspicion of murder and booked into San Diego Central Jail early Sunday evening, according to online jail records, which also showed the suspect was being held without bail pending arraignment Wednesday afternoon.
