Residents were without power for a brief time after a driver plowed into a utility pole Tuesday night on Margarita Road, near Santiago in Temecula.
The accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 in Temecula, it was reported.

The single-vehicle crash was called in at 10:40 p.m. and resulted in the arrested of the driver for a suspected DUI, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Albert Martinez.
No injuries were reported.
According to So Cal Edison spokesman Dan Chung, initially 1,300 residents were impacted, but power was restored within minutes.
Crews worked Wednesday morning to repair the pole.
