College-bound students can improve their PSAT test scores by participating in the free PSAT Practice Test and Results Workshop hosted by the Murrieta Public Library and presented by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.
The practice test will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 in the Library’s Community Room.
Participants and parents are encouraged to attend the follow-up PSAT Results Workshop to receive their test scores at 6 p.m. on Feb. 11.
In addition, the Kaplan counselor will provide strategies for score improvement.
“This free practice test is the perfect opportunity for students to find out what to expect on test day,” said Joyce Lea Brown, Teen Services Librarian.
“This is your chance to discover what the test is like, learn tips to succeed, and best of all, it’s free!”
Space is limited to 40 students in grades 9 to 11.
Students are encouraged to register right away online at www.kaptest.com/hsevents; choose “PSAT” and “Find a Free Event”, type in your zip code, scroll down to the Murrieta Public Library Heading, and sign-up.
The event is free and open to the public.
The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street).
