Indio man suspected in rash of burglaries

An Indio resident has been arrested in connection with a series of car and home burglaries in Palm Desert, it was reported today.

After an investigation, Kaagen Saenz, 18, was taken into custody by law enforcement officials at about 7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 in the 82400 block of Oleander Avenue in Indio.

“Deputies located and arrested Saenz, who was hiding inside a bedroom closet,” said Sgt. Brad Farwell in a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department report.

According to Farwell, Saenz was arrested for a felony arrest warrant, numerous counts of burglary and committing a felony while on bail.
