A crash on the Pomona Freeway (60) near the Interstate 10 in Beaumont left three people with moderate injuries, authorities said.
Firefighters used a hydraulic tool to free someone trapped in a vehicle during the crash that was reported shortly before 6 p.m. Friday, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.
The crash occurred at the interchange of westbound Pomona Freeway and Interstate 10.
Hagemann did not disclose whether any of the injured people were taken to a hospital or if there was more than one vehicle involved in the crash.
The California Highway Patrol did not have any immediate information as to how the crash happened.
